Common Questions and Answers

Q.  How much will it cost to embroider my ... ?

A.  Embroidery cost is based on the setup, stitch count, and number of units.  Setup is explained below, stitch count is the actual number of stitches in the design.  As the number of units being embroidered with the same design goes up, the cost for each unit goes down.  Price breaks come at 2, 6, 12, 24, 48, 144 and 1000.

Q.  How much does it cost to set up my logo?

A.  It costs anywhere from $5 to $300 to set up a design for embroidery, depending on the size and the detail necessary.  Remember, for some orders we do offer FREE SETUP.

Q.  Why is embroidery setup so expensive?

A.  While we use graphics files to see your design, we don't actually "convert" the file as with other graphic programs.  Embroidery setup is a matter of programming the machines to recognize where each stitch starts and stops, a labor intensive job not readily automated.

Q.  How much does it cost to embroider my logo?

A.  Pricing is based on the stitch count (the number of stitches in the design), and the quantity of items being sewn.  If you have already had your logo "digitized" for embroidery, and you know the stitch count, you can go to EMBROIDERY COSTS to calculate the cost yourself.  We do 5,000 stitches of  FREE EMBROIDERY when you purchase your embroiderable items from us.

Q.  How long does it take to get my order delivered?

A.  From the time you place your order and we have received your deposit it usually takes about two weeks to deliver the finished product.  Obviously, if the quantities are substantial this might take longer, or if the manufacturers have an item back-ordered, this could take longer.

 Q.  Can you get it to me by yesterday?

A.  While we can't get it done by yesterday, our group at EMBROIDERY EXPRESS specializes in getting the product in, in the least amount of time possible and getting those RUSH orders completed and shipped in an amazingly short period of time.  Additional rush charges do apply and vary according to what is needed to meet your deadline.  Each project is unique, but give us a try.  I bet we surprise you and leave you smiling.

Q.  Can I provide my own item to be embroidered?

A.  Yes.  There is about a 2% damage factor which you must account for with most embroidery.  Our shop runs just under 1%.  This means that if you supply the items you must plan on about a 1% damage factor.
